Stone Types

There are two basic types, natural stone and quartz. Natural stone is basically a large piece of stone cut from nature and then made into slabs for countertops and other applications. Since it is natural resources are limited so we have provided you with links to all the local distributors so you have the most up-to-date inventory.

Quartz

Quartz countertops are man-made engineered stone countertops formed by combining around 90 percent ground quartz (a natural hard mineral) with eight to 10 percent resins, polymers, and pigments. With machines and technology, they create slabs that you can use for your countertop or other needs. This process is no as limited but inventory changes frequently so check out the quartz page to see what each distributor has to offer.
